A Sneak Peek Behind The Doors Of My Upcoming Course 'Conquering Gestational Diabetes'

I'm getting ready to launch a course all about how to manage your diabetes in pregnancy.

Did you know that about 60% to 70% of women who have diabetes in pregnancy are either going to stay diabetic or become diabetic?

When you get diagnosed with diabetes, it can be very confusing. You're overwhelmed and inundated with a lot of information, and there doesn't seem to be any agreement on how to eat for diabetes, whether you're pregnant or not. Some diets have more or fewer calories, higher or lower fat, more or fewer carbohydrates.

Because of this, I've made it my personal mission in life to help as many women as possible to get control over their gestational diabetes so that they can feel free to eat foods they love without the fear of ruining their health.

I've taken all my knowledge from helping literally thousands of women conquer their gestational diabetes over 30 years and rolled it into one simple-to-do online video course.

As I get ready to launch my course all about conquering diabetes in pregnancy I thought I would share a sneak peek behind the doors of the course. This short video is the introduction to the course where I talk about what we're going to cover and what you can expect.

I'm a high-risk OB specialist, so I see diabetic patients, every single day, pregnant women who become diabetic and diabetic women who become pregnant.

The process is pretty much the same. And the advice is going to look very much the same.

What we're going to do in this course is put it all together for you and give you the training that you need to become confident about how to prepare meals for yourself and your family that will work for you so that you can feel in control of your diabetes.

It's going to be tailored to your tastes and interests so that you don't have to eat something that you're just not going to like.

The course is a four-week course, 30-days, where the transformation starts on day one. So you don't have to wait till 30 days to see some big reveal.

The Preparation day is the first day. That's where we're going to talk about what you need to get rid of from your pantry, what you need to stock it with, how to grocery shop, and how to plan your meals. Weeks one, two, three, and four are going to build on the previous weeks. So you're going to learn some great habits, slowly. You're going to stumble and fall and fail. You're going to figure out a few foods that work great for you. And you're going to discover some foods that you might need to reduce or avoid because they're just not working for you.

The last day, day 30 is your "launching day", when you're going to know with confidence, how to shop for groceries, how to prepare a week's worth of meals, how to eat out at a restaurant so that you can be with your friends and feel like you're not deprived or sitting in a corner. You will learn how to go forward and know that you're going to manage this with confidence.

Diabetes in pregnancy is a very strong predictor of diabetes in life, in general.

The good news here is that you've got some control over this. If you learn good habits, if you learn how to eat well, and if you learn how to move your body, you can affect that risk a lot.

This course is for serious people. It's going to be fun. But is for women who are self-starters and who are willing to take control of their health. We're going to have fun. We're going to laugh together, but you have to be serious about this.

There are going to be failures. That's inevitable. We all fail. Even if you're eating the right things, sometimes things are not going to work for you. And it can be really frustrating to see high glucose when you did everything right. So don't be too hard on yourself. I'm going to be holding your hand every step of the way. We're going to learn how to troubleshoot and how to make improvements. In the end, you're going to be really proud of yourself and all the progress you've made.

Imagine what it will be like to have all the answers, support, and encouragement you need all in one place? Imagine where you will be at the end of the 30 days? You'll feel more confident, lighter, and more in control of your health.

If you are ready to take back control of your health and stop feeling alone, guilty, scared, or confused about your diet then this course is for you. Leave me a comment below letting me know what your biggest struggle is when it comes to managing your gestational diabetes.
