Becoming a Sonographer: Meet Catherine Part Two
If you're pregnant or planning to be, you naturally want the best care for your pregnancy. And you want to work with people who have a passion for what they do.
In the previous post, we met Catherine Ross, the lead sonographer at JPS Hospital in Fort Worth. She showed us what happens during a typical OB ultrasound. But what you may not know is that although Catherine is now a super qualified sonographer, she had to start at the very beginning, as all experts do.
It was her love of the fetal heart that motivated her to push past "no's" and fierce competition to become the sonographer she is today.
In this episode, we find out what sparked her interest in becoming a sonographer and what training is required to perform ultrasounds.
I hope that you feel more prepared for your ultrasound after watching the episode.
For everyone who dreams about becoming the go-to person in a particular field, or developing your skills to the highest level, Catherine’s story will delight and inspire you. Her drive and motivation have taken her to a position of leadership over a team of professionals that I rely on every day.
I don't know what it was, but, I was just so fascinated by the fetal heart. I just wanted to know everything there possibly was about the fetal heart.
Watch today's episode and leave me a comment below letting me what obstacles you've had to overcome to reach your dreams.
